omg...we're excited here!

hey hey everyone

been a while, but with tom delonge's new band, angels & airwaves hitting our tvs screens (and airwaves...wow that'll become cliched) this week and the entire debut album ("We Don't Need To Whisper") leaked on the net, i thought it appropriate that i wrote a blog regarding this awesome album. miles and i have not been so excited abt a band in ages! and with that statement ill give you the album's track listing:

1- Valkyrie Missile (6.41)
2- Distraction (5.37)
3- It Hurts (4.12)
4- Do It For Me Now (4.32)
5- The Adventure (5.40)
6- The War (5.09)
7- A Little's Enough (4.43)
8- The Gift (4.55)
9- Good Day (4.41)
10- Start The Machine (4.11)

everyone of them is an absolute gem! this is an album us blink fans have been waiting for, foreva! and it seems to even be pleasing those who didnt initially take to blink. the music is more mature. the vocals are expressed differently. the lyrical direction is different. basically the whole band outlook is different from blink. it's so awesome, even thou we miss blink.

as for the other 2/3s of blink (mark and travis), they have formed their own new band called plus-44 and their first demo titled "No It Isn't", accompanied by the fourth-coming debut album is eagerly anticipated. actually a few of us have their first demo and to be honest it's awesome. still very blink. whereas angels & airwaves is definitely a new direction.

well well...wat else has been going on? well not much rlly. except my little oc life lol it's been pretty full on lately, which is always exciting, but not always welcomed. i think (as i listen to the radio edit of "The Adventure") i will bid you fare well and encourage you to purchase "We Don't Need To Whisper"! it's fucking brilliant!

i love you all!!!

The Mercredi Manifesto

WELCOME!!!! Once again this is a musical entry, but this time a serious one, beyond the mock albums. I will still be continuing my career as "The Dribbler", completing my albums with both Adrian and Andrew, however jackson and I today formed a new band. we're called "The Mercredi Manifesto" and we've started work on a demo CD.

The track-listing is as follows:
1. My September Girl
2. One, Two, Three
3. You're Dark Protection

"My September Girl" is a song that has been in the works for many months. Though today, finally I recorded the vocals. The song is engineered by Jackson on guitar, accompanied by my lyrics and vocals. The demo is recorded and ready for release.

"One, Two, Three" was only just written today. Once again, this song entails Jacko's guitar, my lyrics and vocals. This demo has had a practice demo recording (if that makes sense?) and the guitar work might be finished by tomorrow. I have got a vocal direction to head in with this song, one which I think is slightly better and certainly more upbeat than "My September Girl", in terms of the musical style.

"You're Dark Protection" is still in the works as far as I'm concerned. Jackson tells me I wrote the lyrics to this song many months ago, however, I'm yet to hear his riff for it and he has informed me that the guitar-work will almost certainly be carried out by two seperate guitarists.

I certainly hope to have the demo ready before I go back to Uni and we've certainly got time on our side there.

Well stay tuned to my blog for more info on upcoming songs or albums.

I love you all!

Then there's tommo's party on the 22nd (?) i think and althou jackys party was cancelled late last week and I couldnt be at Clares the other nite, Tommo's should b gr8 as it usually is. I'm playing golf tomorrow and im afraid to admit i havent played since last Christmas ('04)! so that should b interesting. then andrew and i have decided we're going to start writing an album together, so that's something else for you all to look forward too. and that's about all the news i have for you atm...but stayed tuned!

Schoolies

gday again as laurs said..."long time, no write"

ok well a load of stuff has happened, since last i wrote, however i wont go into all the details...this blog is basically centred around our schoolies at Phillip Island. Well, we were based in Cape Woolie and there was only one other group of skoolies that we noticed and i naturally said "hi sexys" lol, that was abt the extent of our skoolies contact, however schoolies for me and i think for the other guys (with perhaps the exception of andrew who clothes humped abbie his gf, more than a few times ) was just about being with mates and enjoying yourself. The stuff in byron and surfers is not rlly our scene. Which much prefer stuff around on the beach and then drink at home, instead of in public.

Well day 1 andrew, benny, jacko, james and I headed down to PI. Andrew and ben in Jim's car and jacko and i in james car. Once arriving in PI we stopped at the shops in San Remo (the town everyone knows b4 the bridge) for our weeks worth of shopping. $300-odd dollars later, we had our weeks worth of shopping (or so we thought). While we bought the food bens camera was generally on filming the days events. I decided putting a plastic bag on my head as a hat, in the shopping centre would be a good idea and greeted the other customers with a bag on my head. It was hilarious...or i thought so...apparently the check out chick was laughing at me...my work on earth is done!

After buying food we headed across the bridge, towards Cape Woolie and Ben's house. Eventually, we came across the" dutch looking house" that faced the bay. The view from the balcony was glorious (see attached pictures) and literally a few feet away from the driveway sat a gazeebo (ah guys...old times sake) with a bbq which we would use twice later on in the week. Then a few feet further on from the bbq was the glittering ocean (this was one of the only non-heavily overcast days of our trip).

Later that afternoon, we set up the table tennis table and played a few gruelling games of TT/stingers, which I thought was rather awesome, winning most games, luckily. I did however get hit with the last play of the day, on the arm, as i was waving them around (i trust everyone knows what stingers is- well how ada plays it anyway). Whilst we played, the opposition who won each game, usually either me and andrew or me and ben filmed their team mate stinging the opposition. Oh it was fun and we watched it later which was funnier!

Day 2 big jacky arrived early in the day and we decided we'd head off to the dunes to dune board for the day. This particular day was rather blustery, but was humid enough for beaching. Once more, the camera was taken out (after the night b4's festivities- consisting of about 45 minutes of more camera footage), however this visit to the beach would be a problem for our camera, as it received a bit of a battering from the winds and consequently gathered a little bit of sand within it. But we managed to capture some fantastic footage of some dune races and some awesome rides down the dunes. Later that night johnny arrived via his mum's car and we once more decided to head down to the beach, this time more the bushland beside it, to toast with a glass of port by the sunset and then subsequently play a game of 40/40...awesome stuff! This venture to the beach was fatal for our camera. After capturing a few moments of portage, we placed the camera near base and after our game of 40/40, discovered it had been sanded rather badly.  So unfortunately, that was the end of video camering for the week, however the fun continued the next day when we had a visit from our ghost friend emil lol who after playing a brief game of table tennis headed straight off to the beach for a read of his book and stayed away from the house for about 2 or 3 hours.

During this time, we continued our TT/stingers game, which lived up to the hilarity of the previous day, which a few more welts, i think i may have escaped on the second day, which made things even funnier.

Day 4 consisted of a rain! however, after rain most of the day a few of us managed to get out to the backyard for a few hours of classic backyard cricket. which was good seeing we brought with us, about 4 cricket bats lol. and we managed to lose johnnys warney ball. Then later that night (at around 2am) we had pancakes, cooked by jacko and myself. which were quite nice. then the majority of us stayed up till around 4ish and chatted about relationships, school and more relationships (we can talk for hours on relationships, if you dont know us well- especially jacky and i).

Day 5 was a bit better (weather-wise), but andrew and james left for a few days and headed back to melbourne (james for work and andrew for a formal), but would return the following day. The guys stuffed around playing video games which jack and i disliked (thanx emil) and found rather boring but oh well, we had fun that night and stayed up until 6am lol after being thrown out of the room for singing too much blink-182 jacky and i started a convo that lasted till the early hours. once again, during our D'n'Ms we managed to spend some time talking and txting some of the girls in byron and ringing the boys in melbourne who had returned from byron...we were just returning the favour thou guys eh. We chatted for hours on end about our relationships and our past and it was great...thanx jacky...we're rather good at that arent we.

Day 6, jamesy and andrew returned after their venture into melbourne and abbie returned with them. so there was some more dry-humping and that night was one of the many nights where i ran to base in 40/40 in only underwear (hot stuff), naturally i got home each time cause the guys who were "it" were laughing their heads off lol. i also proceeded to walk home from the beach in only my underwear...quite fun...you should try it! once inside a few photos were taken (see attached photos) lol. The night continued into the morn, as we stayed up playing cards and listening to music and then once a few others went to bed the same culprites returned to the end bedroom and continued their discussions, which only lasted until 4am that morning. It's amazing what sorts of things are funny when one is so sleep deprived. and we laughed way into the night, by 2 and 3 am we werent talking about anything in particular but managed to laugh at anything anybody said lol. it was almost like being drunk (which is one thing im very proud of myself...i didnt even drink alchy on skoolies!...i just decided i was stupid enough without it and would rather be sleep-deprived/drunk and get my laughs that way and it worked!). Eventually the night ended and the morning came and we shoud have been in bed lol.

Day 7 was our final full day, but to our horror and my shock i awoke to talk that went something along the lines of "but i dont see why james suddenly left, now we have no way of getting half of us back to melbourne" lol and so it was we were half stranded in PI with only Jim (bens dad) to take two of us home. So both jack and andrew got madly onto their phones and attemtped to get one of their parents to drive to PI the next day and pick up the rest of us. Finally, some good news- andrews parents could come. so the rest of the day was good, however we cleaned up parts of the house, so as not to leave too much cleaning for the next morning. our day ended by watching a few late night movies ("fight club" and "evolution") and then each grabbing a spoon and heading for the downstairs fridges and digging into the four bowls of jelly we'd prepared earlier. in the long and short of it, it was an awesome night and a good way to end things.

Day 8 was our clean up morning and we simply cleaned the house and got our things together and the first group of people (andrew, johnny and jacky) headed off in andrew's dad's car at 10, leaving ben, jacko and myself to watch TV for an hour b4 jim turned up. We watched a bit of "video hits" and watched one of my favourite ben lee songs  "into the dark" on video clip. so that was awesome too lol and then at around 12 we headed off, leaving behind a house that now holds many memories. but never fear, because there are talks of doing it all again! yay! what would be awesome is if we all went down again and met up with the buntine boys at casa's house at PI, now that would rock! anywho, i think i may have just bored you with a few details here, so ill sign off while i can still type properly

i love you all!

Final day and Validictory

hey everyone! well on Tuesday of last week we finished school forever! And we took over 1000 pics! lol and our final assembly where a few of the guys played "iris" by the goo goo dolls was one of the most moving events that ive been involved with. it was awesome! of course their song started off quite a few year 12s crying, as for me I was suprised that i didnt cry, althou i did have a tear in my eye at one point when one of the girls reading out a reflection broke down. Once she had finished her speech, all the year 12s (who were all in one corner of the centre, seeing it was a whole school assembly, with 1000 students) stood as one and clapped her for ages...the sense of fraternity was brilliant! there were a few more occassions where we all stood as one and cheered and it is something i will hopefully remember forever. In fact i was suprised how many people cried, even the guys, who you wouldnt expect to cry did, and me being a person who is in touch with his feminine side lol (or so they tell me:P), who has cried at smaller things didnt cry. After the final assembly finished, we headed back up to the function room to say our goodbyes. Following that abt 20 of us headed for a nearby park (where we had been the day b4 with a few of the girls, after finishing our last day of proper classes), where we mucked around for abt an hour. Then miles, jacko, ben and i headed for kilvington, not sure why i was there but neway lol. Then after kilvo we went home and got ready for validictory dinner. The validictory dinner was pretty well done and was also soemthng to remember, althou a few of us may struggle because it was open tap!!!! so that was great, but at the same time suprising, seeing quite a few in a year level are actually under age which means the racecourse were actually braking the law but not that, that bothered neone and then to add to our picture collection of well ova 1000 pics for the last 2 or 3 days, we had more photos taken and bought some photos that had been taken earlier in the day, by the nazi camera woman...who made another guest appearance, after her attendances at the 2004 kilvo formal and the 2005 kilvo and cgs formals lol. in short (even thou this blog isnt short) the final few days of school were something to saviour and remember, which is a great way to finish school i think.
newho i love you all and stay tuned for my next blog!

Cass's Surprise

hey everyone...

Saturday nite was a surprise for our good friend cassie. And interestingly enough it was one of the best parties in ages! So thanx laurs lol. b4 laurs' surprise for cassie, i went ova to mile's with a few of the boys and sez and kt and we watched the grand final together, amongst the occassional "adam's quite possibly gay" jokes and "beastiality is actually a crime, adam". The aftermarth was a little more disturbing but i think i played a big part in that.:P along with mayb someone else:P It was a great day, althou sunday left a little to b desired.:P Still saturday made up for a boring sunday. Now one week left, plus one day till skool is back...for the last time! so that should b good and at the same time a little daughting. Im hoping to get some more pics from not only adele's 18th but jack's and john's too. Im waiting for some rippers from john's place lol...miles you know wat im saying;) but dont worry sez nothing actually happened:D oh btw...:D a couple of people have recently questioned my sexuality lol...it's almost at the stage we're im gonna have to prove myself lol...so watch out!:P Looking forward to next weekend for a break in hw and no doubt some more parties.

The present

Hello everyone (all the masses that read my blog)...recently ive acquired pictures from all over the place and from such parties as John's 18th and Kate's party. They are all available to view in my photo section or in small format on the main page.

It took me a while but i eventually gained most of the photo's from john's, as i said (the reason being someone didnt give me the CD with the photoson it when he was sposed to have done, so i got them off someone elses blog-- slapstickgeriatrix jacko).

well the next 2 or 3 months shall b frantic! with year 12 exams coming up very soon and a few parties and hopefully some time with nikki. As well as submitting preferences for Uni courses next year, the next month should b rather nerve-racking.

I should also point out that Melbourne reached the AFL finals for the second year running and face off against geelong this week, at the "g"...so GO DEES!

Oh btw guess wat!? I bought 3 pink panther DVDs today with some vouchers, so im happy abt that....now i have them on both video and DVD You may have the ones on video now, Andrew

And now ull all have to wait until i publish my next blog.

love from ada

Tommo's 18th

woah! Tommo's 18th...we all went to sleep @ around 6 and got up @ abt 10.30! And strangely I'm still not tired, afterall we drank a fair bit the nite b4. Still it was a great party...still i would have been improved by the attendance of you know who but it was very very enjoyable. Emil, Laurs and I just stuffed around together, with Emil struggling to remember how to mount a piggy-backer (this was b4 he was drunk). Then we gave him endless nipple-cripples like 14 year olds and that was hilarious. I'm surprised I remember so much of the nite lol. In the middle of the nite a few of us got up and had a box of pizza when we were hungry and that was rather enjoyable, however no one touched the margarita which was dubbed "the rubber". Then our room turned the nite into a guys nite, once most of the girls had left (besides lisa who blocked her ears in disgust and sarah who supposedly made out with miles) and we pull out the dirty jokes mostly involving dirty things....err amazingly. Then apparently a few ppl bummed each other and that really was the icing on the cake! I must say I enjoyed my piggy-backs, although Emil's attempts often made me struggle to gain my balance, from laughter. He is such a funny fellow.

Oh and sorry for the delay in blog entries, we've had a couple of things on since Nik's at the end of May but I couldnt b bothered talking abt them all.

Hopefully we will have some photos for you soon.

Bye all!

Just wanna say i had an awesome weekend (the one just been)! Nik's place was great too. And i was reunited with Ace Ventura Pet Detective and When Nature Calls:D and i viewed Anchorman and Team America for the first time! they were all fantastic! and so was the nite...and we went to sleep @ around 7:P and as many of u can c from Ben's msn name there were 143 pics taken on his digital camera! which smashes the previous record of abt 107...the thing on the whole i would give 10 out of 10;) and hopefully it wont b long until we have another all nite gathering...cause they r the best!;)

hopefully i should have some pics up from the gathering soon...

awesome weekend!

hello hello

well this weekend has been good so far...last nite i went to an 18th which was awesome...mostly due to one person (;):P), then that finished @ around 1. got home a little later and went basically straight to bed. Then got up this morning @ like 9.00 and had a soccer match (Round 3) @ 10.10. I was pissed off cause my coach subbed me early on in the first half, after i got cautioned by this tight arse referee...but to b honest i play shit in the first half. At half-time we were up 2-0. In the second half i started and play for the most of it and scored of the three second half goals we scored. The final score was 5-1! As u can c we thrashed em! Then i came home and instead of going to the footy to watch melbourne play i "did hw" (which was abt 2.5 hours worth of PE work for my SAC) and then afterwards i watched melbourne win by 18 points...after being up by 55 @ 3/4 time! Terrible finish and a chance to boost our percentage lost...:( still we have Richmond @ Telstra Dome next Friday nite and we're gonna kill em! We get Brad Miller back but we still have a few out either injured or suspended.:( oh well i should have another BLOG report for u next weekend after we go to a certain house to party;) it will no doubt b hosted by a sexy one;) we call her nik:D

cyas everyone, love u all...especially u Nikki!;)

PS. oh and i want some formal photos back soon...:P

14 mai

the aftermarth

in response to my darling's little comments i think i may just have to say the taxi got home @ around 4.30 and i got a flate rate of $20 for it. Then went straight to sleep, as soon as my head hit the pillow i was out. I then slept for 4 and a half hours then played soccer and we won 3-2! I played sooo shit thou! i should have scored about 5 goals in the first half alone! but scored none (which ruins my record of scoring in every game since the start of last season:( i love blowing my own horn:D). we scored right on 45 minutes to level it up @ 1-1. Then the second half see-sawed...i set up the first goal and then wesley replied soon afterwards (2 make it 2-2) and then with about 10 minutes to go we scored to take the lead 3-2. Then I went to the footy and that was crap! did u know hawthorn had 9 free-kicks that resulted in goals...:-O

As for last nite...that's fine darling. i enjoyed ur company. speak to u soon and ill c everyone else later as well.

oh and yes i am still on my feet.:D

11 mai

This Weekend!

hey hey sexy's

this weekend is gonna b big...the big question is...can i stay on my feet?

Here is the plan of action:

Friday nite-

5-5.30 b4 party

6.30 party bus

7.30 Formal

12.30 (?) After-party

4.00 something else not sure yet...prolly go somewhere:P

11.00 Round 2: Soccer starts vs Wesley...the grudge match!;)

2.10 The footy! Melbourne vs Hawthorn...can the dees win without Miller and neitz? i think so

Now somewhere in between all that i would presume i may fall asleep but i aim not 2!

Well no doubt i will c most of u @ some time during this weekend...if not i bid u fair well.

cyas people

Results: Round 1 Soccer

hey every1!

Thanx for 2 those who came and watched;) u know who u r...i thank u and salute u!:P the score being 2-1.

Without sounding like blowing my own horn:

43rd minute I scored

50th minute they scored

60th minute i set up the second goal, which lead to Jacob's first:D

Errr go me:P
